In January 2023, our after-sales service base, Supply Lab, was established and started operation at the new Harima Factory. In order to ensure long-term, stable use of the plants we deliver, we have established a comprehensive after-sales service system in terms of both operation and maintenance, including the stocking of special parts with long delivery times, centralized management of parts inventory information at each operating facility using an ICT-based system, and collaboration with the Solution Lab.
We primarily stock special parts with long delivery times, and we have also introduced a system that allows us to monitor parts inventory status at each facility in real time. Even if a problem occurs at one of facilities we operate and the parts to fix the problem are not available at that facility, the system can be used to supply parts from the Supply Lab or other facilities, enabling a quick recovery.
In the event of a problem, the Solution Lab and the maintenance department quickly send information to the Supply Lab to provide prompt after-sales service for problem resolution and restoration.
