To ensure the long-term success of our diverse workforce and to provide products and services that satisfy our customers, we will work to improve employee satisfaction.
We are developing an office environment that provides a comfortable workplace, serving as a place where employees can concentrate on their work while also encouraging communication and interaction among employees.
In addition to the “Solution Lab,” a remote monitoring and operation support hub for various types of plants, we have established offices for Group companies, meeting rooms, and large-scale training facilities. The building adopts a new hybrid structural system combining wooden and steel construction, and makes extensive use of timber to create a wood-based space that harmonizes with the environment. Through this setting, we aim to serve as a value creation hub that fosters free thinking and active discussion.

As the office space in the Takuma Building (Main Building) has become increasingly constrained due to strengthened recruitment efforts and in anticipation of further growth, we are implementing layout changes through the introduction of a free-address system. Based on the concept of ABW*, the office now provides a variety of work environments designed to promote both concentration and interaction among employees, with the aim of realizing new, highly productive ways of working.
*ABW (Activity Based Working): A work style in which employees choose the most suitable location depending on the nature of their tasks.

To enhance employee motivation and improve operational efficiency, a café space has been established for use as a relaxation area and a venue for informal meetings.

A cafeteria is located on the 10th floor of the Takuma Building (Main Building). Employees from the same department, those who joined the Company in the same year, etc. can enjoy meals with one another, and the space is also actively used as a venue for communication.

In addition to a hot-desking system, the office features private booths and a cafe area.

The Factory began operations in 1942 as a boiler manufacturing factory and renewal construction in 2023. The factory building was designed with efficiency in mind, enabling visual process management and the automation of certain equipment. The interior of the office building (Harima Office) features floor-to-ceiling glass walls overlooking the courtyard, creating a space where visitors can experience the changing seasons. Additionally, a connecting corridor links the office to the factory building, facilitating closer collaboration between the office and the factory.

At various sites, including the Osaka Office and the Harima Plant, free-address seating as well as private booths and meeting booths have been installed so that employees from other locations can use these facilities as temporary offices when on business trips or for other purposes.

Employees who join the Company from distant locations and face difficulty commuting, or those who are transferred from their home regions, may reside in company dormitories or company housing for a designated period.
We utilize a flexible work system that is not restricted by time or place, with the aim of improving productivity and balancing work and personal life.
To accommodate operational needs and support work-life balance, employees may adopt staggered working hours. While standard working hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (including break time), employees may adjust their start and end times in 30-minute increments, ranging from 6:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
To improve productivity and support the balance between work and personal life—such as childcare, caregiving, or medical treatment—we have introduced a remote work system that allows employees to work from home or other locations up to two days per week.
Employees may request annual paid leave for a designated number of days each year.In addition, half-day leave may be taken up to 20 times (equivalent to 10 days) per year. Any remaining annual paid leave at the end of the fiscal year may be carried over to the following year only.
